On our first full day of camp, we feel like Noah as it rained and rained for forty dazies dazies. However, we managed to fight through the rain today and still have a “boatload” of fun!
The Intermediates played games all morning from down-n-out to Nuke’em ball (a version of volleyball). The Juniors participated in team building games and grew as a team this morning. Our SURE campers built a shelter that they are going to try and sleep in this week. (weather permitting).
During crafts today the groups got to make turtle Gods-eyes weavings. Noah had to of had lots of turtles on the ark. Plus we have a lot of turtles here at camp!
Tomorrow our campers will embark on journeys to their overnight locations. We look forward to blue skies and rainbows tomorrow!
