It’s great to be back at camp after a week of sharing God’s word at offsite day camps. This week we get to share our camp with Setebaid, (diabetes backwards) and they are a Type 1 diabetes camp who make it possible for kids with diabetes to experience camp just like we do! Today our Junior and Intermediate Night Owl campers arrived as well as Intermediate S.U.R.E (Surviving Using Resources of the Earth) campers and interns. We all gathered for dinner and afterward went to campfire/worship at Turkey Feeder. Sunday Sundae’s followed worship. Yum! Campers then got ready for bed since we have a fun-filled day planned for tomorrow.
Tomorrow, campers get to spend the day swimming, playing games, doing crafts, and our S.U.R.E campers will be working on building a shelter in which they get to sleep in all week (weather permitting). It’s looking to be a fun day!
