The week started a little chillier than the past few, but that didn’t stop our campers from getting right into their Monday activities! The morning was filled with field games and team-building activities, along with a before-breakfast round of Gaga ball for the Morning Glories.
For Lunch & Learn, the campers dug into the creation story a little more with the help of Legos. They were asked to make a replica of something from the creation story (or just something God created in general) with the Legos given to them. The end result saw everything from trees to airplanes to animals.
The cooler day didn’t stop anyone from a nice afternoon swim! As the younger campers hung out at the pool, the Nomads headed off for Wesley Forest to do some nature activities on the camp’s pond and adjacent Penn’s Creek. Games and worship will end the night for the camping groups here at Mount Luther, as they rest up for their Tuesday overnights and the Morning Glories prepare for another early wake-up call!
