Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Late breaking news from Week 6 at Camp Mount Luther. One of our Camel News Patrol reporters, Naomi Main, submitted a story about the fun that was had in the craft lodge this week. Unfortunately, we were unable to print it in Camel Tracks so here is her report:
The craft lodge is a fun place to spend elective time. It is located in the middle of Maple Village. Creative campers work on making friendship bracelets, gimp, hug pins, drawings, and glitter bottles. Sylvia introduces new activities that are fun for all campers. Shelves of supplies are provided so that there is no limit to what you can make.
Some intermediate campers enjoy making “hug pins,” clothespins painted and decorated, then given to one another in exchange for a hug. The craft lodge is a place for campers to show their creativity, whether is is on paper, or painted on a clothespin!
