It’s been a busy day at camp again today. The CLAWS campers had a great overnight last night and there were raves this morning about their ranch chicken meal. We did get some heavy thunderstorms overnight but everyone stayed dry in the alternate locations. Our Junior CLAWS campers continued to work on their sewing project this morning and are trying to finish it up this afternoon. We had a great brunch and GROW Time with Pastor Paul at midday. We even played some large group Rock, Paper, Scissors, and Four Square (with 16 people playing at once)! Talk about wild sports!
This afternoon was electives including pool time, crafts, and a mud fight. Hot Turkey Sandwiches (with pumpkin pie for dessert) is on the menu for supper and the Junior CLAWS campers are having a spaceship building competition tonight. They’ll be making those out of Legos. There are plans for both CLAWS groups to sleep in the field tonight as tomorrow morning at 7:30 we are having Polar Bear Olympics.
