It was a very busy first full day of Family Camp! This morning, after First Light, we took a camp tour/hike from the Evergreen Center all the way to Oak Cottage via Pine Village, the labyrinth, and the amphitheatre. The campers learned more about the history of camp, too. It was a lot of fun.
We had a few electives this morning and after lunch, it was GROW Time, as we learned more about Moses. This afternoon, the pool was open, there were crafts, and some more games during electives.
Tonight, we had a great dinner devotion session when the campers made up parodies of camp songs about our theme today. Then, we worshiped using Holden Evening Prayer. We planned to go swimming, but the weather curtailed that.
Our senior high X-Teeners had a good day, too. They were busy doing their thing while the Family Campers did theirs. It’s been a fun, but busy day at camp!
