2014 Week 8: Monday

It’s been a great day at camp today, as our campers learned more about Living in Advent under sunny, blue skies.  The field was abuzz with activity this morning as the kids did team building activities, trolleys, and Gaga Ball.  At lunch, we wrote poems based on the word “hope.”

This afternoon, our Pedal, Pack, and Paddle Light group went on a bike ride to get ice cream!  The pool was a popular spot, too.  The craft lodge has been busy today as well.

This evening is wrapping up with some field games and snack.  We also had a special guest right after supper.  Van Wagner, a local teacher and musician, told us the story of elk in Pennsylvania and sang us some songs about local history.  It was a lot of fun!
