Last night, our campers were scheduled to go on overnights, but due to some severe thunderstorm watches, we moved them all indoors. The Bugs, Mud, God group went to Oak Cottage; X-Teen cooked in Pine Lodge; and the Water Adventurers took over Maple Hall. We had some storms around 6:00 in the evening, but they didn’t last too terribly long and everyone stayed dry and safe! X-Teen even had a camp sing-a-long and did boundary breakers.
Yesterday was a day to celebrate joy with singing, including making up new words to our familiar Christmas carols at lunchtime. The Water Adventurers had a nature activity with Ryan in the morning and the Bugs, Mud, God folks continue to learn more about the outdoors.
Today, we had breakfast burritos for brunch and had All-Camp GROW Time with Pastor Andy. It featured balloons!
Electives were this afternoon and tonight, the juniors and intermediates are having a picnic at the pavilion. Senior High have a special Halloween Party, complete with a square dance! And, they’ll be having a Reformation Worship Service as well.
