We’ve come to the end of Week 8 and our summer at Camp Mount Luther. It’s been a good week. Yesterday, campers learned about hospitality and were treated to a program by local musician and teacher Van Wagner. They learned about the timbering industry and some of its history. He even sang a song about it:
We had campfire/worship last night, too, and a delicious snack of soft pretzels. Today, Bishop Robert Driesen of the Upper Susquehanna Synod led us in GROW Time about service. We learned more about the story of the Good Samaritan. Campers enjoyed their last craft and swim sessions. We ended our week with picnic and sending.
